Participation of Mahmood Shah Habibi, Head of Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority at the Business Matching Conference organized by Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. and Signing of a Memorandum of Undestanding with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Concerning Joint Efforts to Develop Export Processing Zones and Increase Air Cargo Exports Process in Afghansitan

Mahmood Shah Habibi, Head of Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority participated at the annual Business Matching Conference organized by Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce and delivered presentation about the investment opportunities at Hamid Karzai International Airport and other three international airports of Afghanistan. The investment opportunities included construction of a new International Passenger Terminal, Cargo Terminal, Five Star Hotel, Fuel Forms, Maintenance Repair Organization and Airport Exports Processing Zones.

During the conference Mr. Habibi also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr. Greg Huger, Assistant Administrator of USAID concerning the feasibility studies of the above six projects and joint efforts to develop Export Processing Zones and increase Air Cargo Exports in Afghanistan.
